How it works

From conversation to finished write-up in three steps.

  1. Capture

Record in the browser or on your phone, upload a recording from any meeting tool, or just type. Add notes, PDFs and photos of the whiteboard to the same meeting.

  2. Generate

CallNotes transcribes the audio, names the speakers and reads every file. The meeting type picks which artifacts to write, and you can add more at any time.

  3. Use

Edit anything it wrote, ask the assistant follow-up questions, and export to PDF, Word or Markdown — or copy it straight into an email.

Every source counts

The recording is only part of the meeting.

CallNotes also reads what people wrote: your typed notes, a colleague’s notes, the PDF on the screen, the photo of the whiteboard. Artifacts draw on all of it.

Artifact types

Write it your way, every time.

An artifact type is a reusable instruction: what to write, for whom, and in what shape. Start from the library, edit the instructions, or add variants — an executive brief and a detailed version of the same summary. Each meeting type brings its own set.

Ask the meeting

The assistant knows the transcript and every file. Ask who agreed to what, draft a reply, or change an artifact.

When does the pricing page need to be ready? Before the Q4 launch. Jordan committed to a first draft by Oct 10, and the roadmap PDF puts launch on Nov 3.

Record anywhere

Hit record in the browser or on your phone and keep typing notes while it runs. Or upload a recording from any meeting tool. The meeting is ready to write up when you stop.

Questions

What uses credits?
Transcription uses 8 credits per minute of audio or video. Each artifact uses about 5–20 credits depending on length, and each assistant message uses 1. Creating meetings, uploading text and PDFs, editing, exporting and sharing are free.
What can I add to a meeting?
Audio and video recordings, typed or pasted notes, text files, PDFs, spreadsheets and images such as a whiteboard photo or handwritten notes. Add more at any time and regenerate.
Can I change what it writes?
Yes. Edit any artifact directly, ask the assistant to revise it, or change the artifact type’s instructions so every future meeting gets it your way.
What happens when I run out of credits?
CallNotes tells you before an action would go over your balance. Add credits (any amount from $10 to $500, at 44 credits per dollar) or move to a bigger plan; purchased credits never expire, and plan credits refill every month.
Can my team use it together?
Yes. Everyone in your organization shares one credit balance and one library of meeting and artifact types. Owners and admins manage members and billing.
How is my data stored and used?
Recordings and files are stored in Google Cloud Storage, and meetings and artifacts in a MongoDB Atlas database, encrypted in transit and at rest where our providers support it. To transcribe and write, CallNotes sends what each feature needs to our AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic and Google) under contractual safeguards, only for that purpose. We don’t use your personal data to train AI models unless the law or a contract allows it and, where required, you’ve consented or it’s de-identified. Deleting your account deletes your data within 30 days (90 for encrypted backups), apart from records we’re required to keep, such as transaction records. See our Privacy Policy and AI Disclosures.

Your next meeting can write its own follow-up.
